NOTICE BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE KENWOOD FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON MAY 16, 2023 FOR CONSIDERATION AND DETERMINATION OF THE SPECIAL TAX TO BE LEVIED ON EACH PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE DISTRICT DURING FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 PURSUANT TO VOTER-APPROVED DISTRICT ORDINANCE 2021/2022-01.

WHEREAS, in the election on November 2, 2021, the voters of the Kenwood Fire Protection District (District) approved Measure E, District Ordinance No. 2021/2022-01, to levy a special tax on each parcel in the District to meet the current and future costs of continuing to provide authorized fire and emergency services in the District; and

WHEREAS, Section VI of District Ordinance No. 2021/2022-01 requires that each year the Board of Directors of the District hold a public hearing to consider and determine the rate of the special tax to be levied on each parcel of real property in the District during each year, and

NOW, THEREFORE, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Directors of the Kenwood Fire Protection District will conduct said public hearing on May 16, 2023 at 6:30pm or as soon thereafter as the matter to be heard at the Kenwood Fire Station, 9045 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood, CA 95452.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Clerk of the Board of Directors shall keep on file, and open to public inspection at the Kenwood Fire Station, a copy of the documents to be considered for this public hearing.
